It sounds like you bought a lost (and locked) or stolen Apple Watch. Report to eBay, and your credit card company that you purchase something described as new and it’s used.

It’s a waste of time to discuss further. I’m happy to answer questions, but the Apple Watch is locked to its past owner and there is no getting around that. Sorry.

Can you get your money back? You bought a useless watch, you cannot pair with your iPhone. It was either stolen, or the seller didn't have a clue how to prepare it for a new user. Apple will NOT unlock the watch for you.

Either get the seller, assuming they were the original owner to remove the watch from their account, or return the watch for refund if you can and if you can't, drop it by an Apple Store for recycling.

Buying used devices from sites like Facebook Marketplace, eBay, Offer-Up are the absolute riskiest places you can make a purchase.

Have you tried Force Reset on your Apple Watch series 10?

  • Get to your settings on your Apple Watch
  • Scroll down and press on “General”
  • Then press “Reset” right above “Shut Down” and agree to the terms

to connecting your Apple Watch to a charger and trying it again, that may work, but if it doesn’t, that might be a hardware or connectivity issues.
