Does Spotify count towards my daily Screen Time on iPhone?

i spend a daily average of eight hours a day streaming music from spotify, during this, my phone is either on another app or not open at all. i turned screen time on. does apple screen time count my music listening at seven hours of screen time or does it average out if the music plays when my screen is locked/when i'm not in the spotify app?
