Apple AppleCare+ vs Verizon Wireless Phone Protection?

I recently got an iPhone 16 through Verizon. I currently have Verizon's Wireless Phone Protection. I have a few more weeks to add Apple's AppleCare+. Which is better, Verizon's Wireless Phone Protection, or Apple's AppleCare+? Thank you.

iPhone 16, iOS 18

Verizon claims that I can't get AppleCare +, which I know is untrue.
Why are you asking Verizon about AppleCare+? You need to ask them about their product. Your concern was it wouldn't cover battery replacement. What did they tell you when you asked them about that?
So I have no way of getting infom from anybody knowledgeable about both products.
Do the research. Ask Verizon what they're product offers. Talk to Apple about Apple Care +. Then, decide. No one else can make up your mind for you.

But, if you really just want someone to tell you what to do, here goes. Buy AppleCare +.

Yep, BEST ADVICE. Just buy AppleCare+. It's the ONLY way to know you'll get authentic Apple parts if you need a repair or a replacement phone. I once bought the AT&T insurance for an iPhone. It wasn't a great experience and something I'd personally never do again.
