Do you use the Apple TV box? If so, which model?

If you use a smart TV’s built-in AirPlay capabilities (if available), then please indicate so.

Local devices need to be on the same network (segment) to be able to communicate with each other. For Wi-Fi, that means using the same network name SSID, even if the router is configured for differentiation between the various Wi-Fi bands (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, etc), which would each have different names.

It is recommended to configure your router for a single home network name, for all bands to combine into one logical network. Then each device can connect the way that best suits them, and each can communicate locally as needed. Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points - Apple Support
