MacOS Sequoia Ethernet settings bug
I have a Mac Studio connected to home network using ethernet, with manual hardware configuration (System Settings->Network->Ethernet->Details...->Hardware->Configure). When the computer is restarted, it remembers these settings. But if Ethernet is turned off and back on again (by making inactive, then making active again), these manual settings are lost, returning to Automatic. I spent hours of pointless troubleshooting discovering this incredibly annoying bug.
Apple, please. Users should be able to fully define and retain an ethernet service, and be able to turn it on and off without unexpected changes in settings. System: Sequoia 15.4, Mac studio M4.
