Hi, I am thinking of buying a SE apple watch for going on runs, but I'm not too sure whether you're able to listen to spotify without having my phone on me. Would i be required to buy data for the watch??

if it's the cellular watch then one would assume that you could sounds like it from spotifys support

if it's the gps only model then without the iphone being close by it would not be able to access the internet
the cellular model would require a subscription with your carrier, most would likely just charge a bit more on the normal phone subscription
