Using old MacBook Pro extension adapter with my new MacBook Pro 16”

Can I use my old MacBook Pro 2018 2.5 125V power extension cord that attaches to the charging brick with my new 2025 MacBook Pro M4 16”?

the AC extension cord is universal, and fits every Mac Power adapter with a removable power input.

2022 macbook air m2 extension why is the power adapter extension cable not compatible with the M2 (2022)? The description for the only extension cable they carry says it works with the 30w chargers bit the compatibility list only goes to the m1. Sounds like either apple hasnt tested it out or theres a problem with using it for some reason. I guess i will have to buy a regular extension cable which im assuming apple will say isnt acceptable…

World travel adaptor kit functional with new Macbook Air 15 in M2 2023? So, the new compact 35 w dual charger I received with my Macbook doesn´t have a changeable duckhead. If I order the older 35 w dual charger which is compatible with the travel kit, would I be okay using it with my new mac air?

You can use it if it physically fits the new power adapter. Not sure the new adapter has a removable plug or wall cable, though. The adapter for my MBA does not and is nothing like the older ac adapters of previous generation MacBooks.
