How do I resolve Instagram device ban on iPhone 11?

Hello,

My iphone 11 has a device ban on instagram. I can login just fine on the safari version and on macbook but not on the app itself. I tried software updates, clearing the app's cache, and contacting apple support. I know they are a third party app and there is no way to officially contact them, and the help center was no help either. Can making a new apple id work?
