Passcode option is greyed out on iPhone 13 mini and iPad
trying to turn off passcode on iphone 13 mini to make taking pictures easier but it is greyed out on iphone & strangely also on my ipad,

Someone has changed some settings on the iPhone and iPad which may have affected other things.
Might be this......Try Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Accounts.......Set to Allow
