Apple Music on Mac Unresponsive on Launch

Hi everyone,

I’ve noticed an issue on two different Macs running macOS Sequoia 15.4. When I start up the Mac and the Music app was already open before shutdown, it becomes unresponsive upon startup. Specifically, the app feels stuck — whenever I click on a different section in the sidebar (like Artists or Songs), it immediately jumps back to the “Albums” tab.

The only workaround so far is to quit and reopen the Music app, after which everything works normally. This didn’t happen before the 15.4 update.

Has anyone else experienced this, or found a solution?

Thanks in advance!

Update: I've identified the root cause of the issue — it occurs during Mac startup when no active network connection is available. Once a WiFi network is accessible, the sidebar categories can be navigated without any problems.
