How can I connect an older Thunderbolt 2 display to a new MacBook Pro with Thunderbolt 5 ports?

can I connect an older thunderbolt display 27" to a new MacBook Pro Max M4 with Thunderbolt 5 ports? It currently connect to my old MacBook Pro using a THunderbolt 2 cable. Do I need to use a new cable to connect the display or what adapter do I need?

You need a Thunderbolt 3/4/5/USB-C to Thunderbolt 2 adapter.
