Malware Blocked pop-up won't go away

I restarted my laptop earlier today for no reason other than I hadn't done so in a while, and I thought it would be good to do it every so often. Upon turning my laptop back on this evening, this pop-up (shown below) won't go away no matter how much I click off it.

I followed some steps that I found on this community page to screenshot these 3 folders and to post it here.

I found the folder that was in the pop-up in one of the folders, moved it to the trash, then emptied the trash. The problem still persists. I hope I didn't jump the gun there.

Please help.

Next steps are to find the affected files and delete them. Look in the following locations:

/Applications

(the usual Applications folder)

/Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/

~/Library/Application Support/

Notice those two pathnames are different — they are the System Library and User Library, respectively. The files may also be named PT.updd or "Popcorn Time" for the app itself.

"Popcorn Time" is a bittorent client.

"CleanMyMac" must be removed as a fundamental prerequisite. Follow its uninstallation instructions to the letter. Confirm its complete and utter eradication from that Mac. Never install it, or anything like it, ever again. Be prepared to erase the Mac to recover from the effects of its use. Only then will you be in position to address the concern at hand.

Write back after those preliminary steps are complete.
