How do you get ahold of someone if they don’t have your iPhone number saved?

I literally cannot get ahold of new people I meet or old friends and family who don’t have my phone number saved. If both parties are both verified iPhone users then why is Apple destroying my life and future? This alone has costed me not only relationships but job opportunities as well as being completely unable to contact any of my family who live out of state.

HUH? This has literally nothing to do with you or Apple. If people don't have your number saved in contacts and THEY choose to block unknown callers that's on them. Not you. Not Apple. If you have their number text them and identify yourself and let them know you would like to call them, seems like one solution. But to blame Apple is ridiculous. People can choose when to answer a call and who to answer one from. And that also means they can block your number, just as you can block someones number. That too has NOTHING to do with Apple.

Being that they are iPhone users, they have the ability to silence unknown callers if they wish. That is their choice, not yours and is an optional setting that they would have to turn on. I'm sure you would not like it if you chose to silence unknown callers and those that were not in your Contacts continued to ring through.

Calls Not Going Through:

A. Any Dial Tone?:

So, is there no dial tone? If so, then either the call has failed, or there is a volume issue.

B. Turn Off Screen Time:

Restrictions might be made that are disallowing calls to go through. So, see if you can turn it off...

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: Screen Time
  3. Tap: Turn Off Screen Time(so that it is greyed-out)

C. Contact your Carrier:

If this applies to all calls, then contact your Carrier.

Edit...

Do you Hear Any Ring?:
So, is there no ring? If so, then either the call has failed, or there is a volume issue.

That is also not true. Hearing a ring sound is only a courtesy provided by SOME but not all carriers. Many carriers no longer provide a ring sound for a caller to hear.
