Why is Dynamic Island not working properly on my new iPhone 16 Pro?

I recently upgraded my 14 Pro to a 16 Pro, and the Dynamic Island is … no longer dynamic.

No more sports scores.

No more voicemail icon.

How do I get them back?

Timers cause dynamic island to freeze after iOS 17.5 update Since updating to iOS 17.5 on iPhone 15 Pro Max, timers seem to crash the Dynamic Island, causing it to freeze while displaying the timer. For example, when I ask Siri to set a timer for 5 mins. Dynamic Island displays the timer normally & begins to count down. At a certain point, Dynamic Island freezes, displaying a time & not ringing the usual alarm or notification. Going to the Clock app & selecting Timers however will show that the timer ended normally. After this event, no other feature that would normally appear in Dynamic Island does so. The Island is stuck on the timer. The only solution so far seems to be re-booting the phone. This is the only action I can find to unfreeze Dynamic Island. I'm assuming this is a bug in 17.5.
