Immediately following update 18.4, iphone 15 seriously overheating. Phone gets too hot to handle. Battery drains way faster. No problem before update. Anyone else having issues?

If your iPhone really were “too hot to handle”, it would display a “Temperature Warning” or “Charging on Hold” message, thus shutting down and preventing you from using the iPhone.
After an update, your iPhone has lots of additional background tasks to complete. This can cause an increased battery drain and thermal temperatures. Give it some time and your iPhone will return to normal.
This issues seems to have gotten worse after the 18.4.1 update on my 15pro. I’ve done alllll the fixes and nothing has helped. It is also affecting my iPad as well.
Have noticed this on my iPhone 15 Pro after 18.4.1 update.
