Done a triangle portal, phone number is linked to this phone but showing a different number under my ‘phone’ settings and ‘message’ settings. Tried the lot, Apple ID sign out, SIM card out and in, turn on and off iMessage. Waited 24 hours. Phone number been in use and active for phone calls since Wednesday now. (4 days ago)
The number under Phone Settings is editable; you can correct it.
You will then have to log out of iMessage and FaceTime (actually log out, don’t just turn them off), restart your iPhone, then add them back.

Have you talked to the carrier involved with the porting of the number?
Well, if you really have "tried everything", then things are hopeless.
Did "everything" include speaking to the carriers involved?
