Unable to install Soundflower on my new iMac

Soundflower has effectively been abandoned, and will not work on M series Macs. It will not work on macOS versions even earlier than Sequoia. It hasn't worked for about a decade now.

please see the other replies. but if you want a replacement for soundflower, you might want to consider BlackHole Virtual Audio Driver. it's what I used to replac soundflower back while I was still on Big Sur.
