Is it bad to rest your elbow to the left of trackpad?

I sometimes rest my elbow to the left of the trackpad. I heard a creaking sound, put I am not sure if it would be bad for the computer or it was just something else. I really need help!

PS: It is a MacBook Air m4.

MacBook Pro 14" M2 2023 creaking Hello everyone! My brand new MacBook Pro 14" M2 2023 creaks upon the smallest pressure put on it. Like, if I lay in bed, and use the palmrest on an uneven surface, it creaks. It's not a big problem, it's just very annoying. I feel like the underside is loose but im not sure. Brand New MacBook Creaking So about a week ago I purchased a brand new MacBook Pro M1 and recently I have noticed when I move it while its open in makes creaking noises within the keyboard area or hinge or trackpad. It's not like it keeps doing it over and over in the same spot but instead across the whole device making it random and un coordinated like throwing a dart blind folded. It isn't affecting the performance of the computer though the noises that it makes are pretty annoying for someone like me whose ears are always on and alert all the time. I would think that maybe this is either a manufacturing defect or something is loose across the whole build but I came here to here others perspectives and if anyone else shares my problem.

The palm rest was not designed to support the weight of your elbow resting on it.
