What model and year is your iMac?

You're running Catalina, right? There is an update to Catalina: 10.15.7. Try up dating to it and see if the printer is recognized.

What are you using to print on it on WiFi?

Depending on the year of your iMac it might be able to upgrade to a newer Mac OS system.

Please check on Epson's website to see if they support your printer on Mac OS 15, Sequoia. Apple does not develop printer drivers (or other third party peripheral drivers) that is done by the peripheral developers. If Epson no longer supports your printer that is their way of telling you to buy a newer device. App the printer, scanner and other third party developers do the same thing.
