Hi, I want to be able to add my friend so we can play NBA 2k25 Arcade Edition, but hes all the way out in the Philippines. We tried sending friend request via SMS and it keeps saying "Your friend isnt ready yet, try again later". Is there any way we can solve this problem?

I’d try logging out of Game Center on your and your friend’s iPhone, and then both logging in again, and re-sending.
Also test whether you can send Apple Messages messages outside of Game Center.

So to confirm two details: both people involved have each logged out of Game Center and back in again, and both people have also tried and succeeded when sending Apple Messages messages (not SMS) messages to each other?
