You just described a possible hardware failure that occurred just after a software update.

While this is unfortunate, it is not uncommon.

However, only an Apple Genius can review the cause and provide a complete solution.

Therefore, I recommend service.

Hello~ I myself am fully updated and have no lines…so it is not the update per se else I would also be experiencing the same issue. An update is an intense process and for some devices may stress an already existing issue. I believe that you indeed have a hardware issue that needs repair. Have you force restarted your iPhone?

Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

What model iPhone? Exposed to water? Batter health?

The iPhone Operating System (iOS) is not responsible for a hardware failure because it would have affected my iPhone and everyone else’s in the entire world.

As I had mentioned, unfortunately the hardware failure (most likely) happened during the update.

An Apple certified technician has the ability to investigate this issue and repair the affected part.

You know what you need to do.

Good luck! 👋🏼😉

Thankyou for your response.

Yesterday I visited an Apple Authorized Service Provider, and they informed me that the service would be chargeable. I'm currently using an iPhone 14 with excellent battery health and the device has never been exposed to water.

However, after installing the latest iOS update, I was shocked to notice vertical green and purple lines suddenly appearing on my screen. Everything was functioning perfectly before the update, and this issue appeared overnight. I'm very concerned as this seems to be related to software update.

Yes I have done force restart as well.
