How can I recover iCloud account on iPad with forgotten password?

Hey I logged out of my iPad’s iCloud account two days ago, but before I did that I changed my password because I wasn’t sure I remembered the previous one and so I’d be able to log back in. I tried multiple passwords that were easy for me to remember but they all didn’t meet the ridiculous password requirement so I came up with one that did meet them but I don’t remember now (I have horrible adhd and memory issues)

so that night I tried to log back in and failed because I forgot that new password I had to make up

I typed in my phone number and its verification code and my iPad passcode and even my credit card number- I did all it asked me to do except for the iCloud mail verification because how the **** would I have access to that if I don’t have access to my account??

so the verification failed and it told me it would take a day to verify my account and they’ll send me further instructions to my phone

a day had passed, nothing. So I tried to reset it again and now it says it’ll take another day

I’m so frustrated!!!!!

The support center in my country is closed until Sunday,

Is there any mail I can contact for this matter?

You started account recovery which is a two phase process once started. Phase 1 is the evaluation period, usually 24-72 hours but can be longer or shorter. This phase says Apple is evaluating your info and you’ll get an update after the posted time is over (people mistakenly think it means they’ll be able to reset the password immediately after this first phase.)

Once phase 1 is done it enters phase 2 where https://iforgot.apple.com/ will give you the final amount of days (can be weeks) you’ll wait. On that final day you’ll get a text/call, follow that text/call immediately. If you don’t receive the text or call, once the period specified in the original email is over, you can still go directly to apple.com/recover. Follow the instructions to regain access to your Apple Account.

During the wait period make sure you are carefully following “After you start account recovery“ at How to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple Account password - Apple Support
