How do I fix camera issues on iPhone 13 Pro Max?

You can’t shoot scenery or urban landscapes in portrait mode. The camera tried to warn you. Do you see the warning at top of the screen, “place subject within 8 feet.” Don’t use portrait mode if you aren’t shooting people or some pets.

Does the black dot appear in all your photos? If so, is it always in the same spot?

The reflections are called flare and are an optical phenomenon that all lenses exhibit to one degree or another. There is not much to be done to minimize the effect. Try framing your shots to minimize the flare.

Do you have a protective cover over your lenses? If so, remove it. Protective covers will make the flare more noticeable.

Dirty lens perhaps?

I’d suggest wiping the lens clean and report back if the problem persists.

The objects you’ve circled are dust specs on the surface of the chip. Cameras with removable lenses can have their sensors cleaned. Unfortunately, iPhone camera models are sealed and cannot be disassembled for cleaning. The camera module would need to be replaced.

Please post examples of what you’re referring to. Without actual examples we’re just guessing.
