Cannot use Mac mouse/keyboard on iPad since updating to macOS 15.4.1

I have my iPad connected to my Mac Mini M1 via a lightning cable, and have always used my Mac mouse and keyboard to operate my iPad by moving the mouse cursor beyond the left side of my Mac screen, whereby it would appear on my iPad screen.

This worked perfectly until I upgraded my macOS to 15.4.1. Now the option appears to have disappeared altogether! This was an important part of my workflow, and I'd really like it back.

Can anyone help 🙏

Thanks for the replies, everyone 🙏 I eventually found the problem. I had recently switched my Mac to use Ethernet to connect to a Linux laptop which is where my poor local WiFi is best received (it's a long story...😉). Anyhow, the upshot of this change was that I had switched off the WiFi setting in macOS. It seems that Handoff relies on WiFi being enabled on both the iPad and the Mac. I switched it back on and every thing is fine now 🙂
