Why cant screen timeout be set to 0 to block social apps for my kid?

The minimum value is 1 which doesn't really block the apps.

App limits(screen time) I am the organizer on my family account. I have app limits set on my kids phones so that they only have one minute before they are blocked. Multiple times now the app limits are off and I have to add new limits. Is there a reason for this?

Ignore Screen Time Limits I have screen time limits on my kids’ phones protected by a password they do not know. “Block at Downtown” is toggled. They have to ask permission to add or delete apps. Yet sometimes when they ask for 1 more minute they get a message that says “Ignore screen limit”. Why?? How?? How can I change this??

Screen Time Issue Has the screen time issue been fixed yet or are kids still able to ignore rules for the day. I like using screen time to block my kids phone during certain hours among other things.

Just delete the apps from the iPhone, then restrict downloads in Screen Time.

Good call. Hopefully apps that come with the phone can be deleted. Can specific websites be blocked in case he goes that route?
