Can't access SD or CF cards on my 2020 13" M1 MacBook Pro, Sequoia 15.3.2

Seems like since Sequoia, I can't access SD or CF cards on my 2020 13" M1 MacBook Pro. I have 2 readers, a USB3 Sony CF/SD reader and a new OWC USB-C CF/SD reader. Cards I use in my Nikon Z8, DJI Mini 3 Pro are now inaccessible. They simply don't mount. Gatekeeper security setting is "Allow when unlocked". I've tried everything I can think of including updating card firmware if available. Anybody have a solution?

Do they show up in Image Capture, an Apple app bundled with macOS?

My Nikon camera cards do not show in the Finder, but show without issue in Image Capture:

Does either card reader have an independent power supply? Bus-powered USB external devices must get all power from the computer's USB ports and, sometimes, those ports are overloaded.

A self-powered hub or dock may be needed, or try disconnecting any other USB devices from the computer and test.
