When will iOS 18.4.2 be available on iPhone?

We don’t know when iOS 18.4.2 will be released, if such an update exists.

In the meantime, you can try resetting your network settings: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Hoping an update is going to come along and solve issues you have, which the vast majority of other users don't have isn't the best approach to solving your issues. At a minimum, when was the last time you Force Restarted your iPhone (something I do after EVERY iOS update)? See if this helps you --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

You could also do as H1290 suggests and reset your Network Settings if a Forced Restart doesn't help.

Usually Apple doesn't give timelines about iOS releases. But if you are looking at the Developer resources, they usually push out upcoming releases as beta releases ahead of time. This way you can get an idea of what the next version is going to be: Releases - Apple Developer

For example, as of April 28th, iOS 18.5 was in beta 4. This is the fourth iteration of the 18.5 beta. There are typically many of those before it is final, but it depends and its different from release to release.

Dot updates generally contain security patches and updates related to bug fixes. Full point updates may contain new features or changes in features, bug fixes and also security updates and definitions.
