Will be in the outback Australia with no phone communication and wondering what is available with the iPhone 16e? Information on Australian Apple website does not identify what services are in Australia.

The added feature of Satellite Text Messaging provided by Apple is currently only available in US and Canada. Cellular providers are starting to provide their own satellite services and your phone will use them if provided by your cell provider. You can check with them or others in your region that support satellite Text Messaging.
