Link to Hearing Aid failed on iPad Pro 10.5

The audio link to my hearing aid (oticon) quit in the middle of a youtube clip. It has been working almost flawlessly for well over a year. Settings says they are connected and system sounds play through properly - eg the keyboard clicks while entering this query. I have restarted everything(devices, bluetooth etc) several times. Both devices are up to date. All works properly if using my iPhone (16 Pro). Audio apps(eg Apple Music) recognize the hearing aid link to the extent they don’t play through the iPad speaker.

Thank you for the post sharing your experience, and the efforts you have made, and attempts you have tried.

Seems, even though the settings say they are connected, the connection to your hearing aids dropped out.

Wondering if the hearing-aids may have a recent firmware update you could install to keep everything compatible. Eg: You may have a hearing-aid manual, a hearing-aid professional, or the manufacturer's support website that you could consult.

All the best :-)
