Virtual instruments cut off in Logic

I recently changed from Cubase to Logic and I'm encountering an annoying issue. I play my Studiologic SL88 keyboard using the sounds in Logic. After a few minutes of playing, the sounds cut off and Logic does not respond anymore. I have to force quit. I have the impression that it is to do with the sustain pedal (I tried several but to no avail). I'm using a very recent macbook pro with sufficient ram.

Hi there,

I would:

turn up buffer size
turn your Macs MIC Mode to Standard
turn off “Auto-Input Monitor”
give your interface software access to microphone (if applicable)
update drivers for interface
Update Logic Pro
make sure your midi co troller is connected to computer and not hub
try changing usb cable

Make sure all your plugins are authorized properly and don't run in Demo/Trial mode.

Thanks but I don't have any plugins installed and I run logic in normal mode.
