Readability issue with region names on white background in Logic Pro

Backround strips of chosen regions are white, and at the moment the names are in region’s colour, that is hardly readable in most situations.

It is no issue, in fact, rather the readibility of an interaface within the Logic project.

Would be great, if a small tick-box on preference pane would do the thing.

Have a good day!

Yes. To send feedback:

  1. Under the Logic Pro menu, select Provide Logic Pro Feedback and it should open a web page for Logic Feedback

You might try the Track color settings:

  1. Open the Project giving you visual difficulties. You MUST have a Project open to access Project Settings!
  2. Press [ option ] + [ p ] to open the Project Settings
  3. Select View
  4. In the View settings, select the Tracks tab
  5. Under Appearance, you have control of the:

5a. Track Color:

5b. Region Color:

5c. Marker Color:

5d. Background:

If your visual problems are in the Piano Roll, try the following:

  1. Press [ cmd ] + [ , ] to open Logic Pro Preferences
  2. Select View
  3. Select the Editors tab.
  4. In there you'll see Piano Roll with a checkbox to turn on Bright Background

See if those settings help you.

Oops, I see Eddie's screenshot shows you this. Oh well, a little redundancy never hurt anyone.

No, it’s simpler – in the tracks area, names of the regions – when not selected they’re white on colour (of a region) without visible title bar, when selected – the title bar arrives in white, and name – coloured. When text is yellow on white it is disastrous. Simple tick-box in prefs might offer names written in black on white, so they would be clearly readable.

Thanks for quite obvious directions.

My question applies only to the tracks area (without event panel, which is perfectly readable).

It is very nicely solved in piano roll view (I had to admit – I use it rarely).

So, when in tracks area – with plenty of regions (of many colours) selected, their name bars are really problematic when colour is light on (almost) white. It complies with system imagery, I suppose.
