Overriding Logic Pro sounds with Arturia MiniLab 3

When I try to use sounds from Arturia Analog Lab I via MiniLab 3, I get only sounds native to Logic Pro. At best, I get both the Analog Lab sound and the Logic Pro sound at the same time. How can I mute or override the Logic Pro sounds? Also, I thought I should be able to use the Minilab keyboard to manipulate the Logic Pro software instruments. This does not happen. I appreciate your advice!

Thank you for your reply. That is not quite the issue. I suppose I wasn’t clear enough. I know that the mini lab is only a controller., But somehow it is not controlling any functions in logic Pro although I have set up the appropriate script, and mini lab does appear as a control surface in the logic pro settings.

If I try to use Analog V Sounds in logic Pro, I also get whatever default sound shows up in the logic pro track. I don’t know how to get rid of that sound and only use the Analog V sound.
