Numbers spreadsheet updates lost despite daily edits and saves

created a Numbers spreadsheet, end of May 25. have edited/saved daily for two and half months. went to open recent and it opened the spreadsheet i stared with. Contacted Apple Support x 2 with no resolution. Suggested i contact a Third Party.

Saved where? Have you tried File > Revert in the menu? And have you checked Time Machine or whatever other backup system you are using?

We (Apple support) have checked everything. I’m interested in Third Party software and success with recovering files outside of Apple Supports capabilities. Most likely not, but worth checking.
