After upgrading to Sequoia 15.6.1 on my MacBook Air, I now find that Pages is making suggestions for how to complete words as I type.
I do not want this -- how do I turn it off? There seems to be no way to do it within Pages itself.

Quit Pages. On the System Settings > Keyboard panel, click the Input Sources [ Edit… ] button. The next panel has Show inline predictive text. If that is enabled, switch it off and exit the System Settings panel.
Pages should now cease with predictive text.
