SLL errors after updating my iPad Pro to IOS 17.7.10

my ipad pro was just updated to 17.7.10. i can no longer access sites like Amazon or my office 365 email with a secure connection due to sll errors. i tried to reset the time, reset the network connection, reset all, cleared the browser history and cache and shut down and restarted my iPad multiple times. I have no additional certificates installed either. I do know that the router is ok as I can access all those sites with another iPad on the same network just fine. What else can I do?

iPad, iPadOS 16

Do you have a 3rd party VPN installed, even if you are not using it? If so, delete the VPN profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN, then restart your device. Don't just turn it off; delete the profile. If that fixes it, you can try reinstalling VPN, but probably shouldn't.

Sorry but you confused me. You said iOS 17.7.10, not iPadOS in your post title . You are running iPadOS on your iPad, not iOS.

After all the troubleshooting attempts you mentioned did not work you might consider upgrading to iPadOS 18 IF your iPad Pro supports it. What model year is your Pro?

Other than that the next thing is the nuclear option to reset and reinstall iPadOS 17.7.10. If you decide to take that option make absolutely sure you have a complete backup or face loss of data.

Hello Ikrupp, thanks for the reply. Till now i did not knew there is a difference. My iPad Pro is the 10.5 inch version which Apple decided to leave with v17. IpadOS 18 is no option for me. I simply selected the sw upgrade in “general” after YouTube told me that my OS is no longer supported.

Ikrupp, Thanks again. Just backed up my iPad to my Windows computer. Looks like I have to go for the “nuclear” option. I think you want me to go to “general” “transfer or reset iPad” and then what? “Reset” or “Erase all content and settings”. Ok, one of those options would wipe out that iPad but from my understanding not the IpadOS. How would I tell the iPad to reinstall the IpadOS?
