Unable to take iPhone backup on Mac with sufficient storage

AM planning to change my mobile so ii willing to take backup of my device in my Mac which has 446gb space free and my mobile holds data of 352gb, I tried many times, it's not working. it always shows not able to backup due to low space available in your computer. pls someone help me

Maybe there is some overhead although 100 GB sounds excessive? Maybe you could free more space by moving some large files or libraries temporarily to an external APFS disk. A detour to safe boot might also help.

I have seen reports that for a 512 GB phone, you need 512 GB on the Mac no matter how much is actually used. I don't see anything official about this, and it seems silly, but it's like the Mac algorithm has to be prepared for the worst. You seem to be seeing this…
