Restoring original spreadsheet format in Numbers

I was making some edits. I had the names of clients in a column, payment info in the row beside the name. Somehow, this moved to the clients names in a header, with payments listed in the column underneath their name. I cannot find any way to undo this action. How do I move this back to the original format?

Undo usually cures these things if you do it right after making the mistake. But it sounds like you transposed the table. Select the table, go to the Table menu, at the bottom is Transpose Rows and Columns, click on that.
