Mobile data is not working on my iPhone 14 Pro Max running iOS 26

Just did the ios26 update and now my iMessage won’t activate with my phone number, just have the spinning wheel next to it. I’ve done all the resets possible including resetting my network settings. Apple support was no help. Any ideas?

Update, it’s finally activated. Guess it just took a bit.

anyone experienced this ? Oh even the mobile data not working

To the OP and all those affected…

Contact your Carrier:

Give your carrier, and see if they’ve had any complaints about this. Report back what they have to say in this. It may come down to getting a new SIM card or eSIM card for your device.

Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread.
  4. Proceed from there as necessary
