iOS 26 Liquid Glass effect not working on iPhone 15 Pro

Iphone 15 Pro, I did the accessibility/reduce transparency, reduce motion essentially tried every display, color etc change/change back, restarted phone. My apps are not transparent at all even after selecting "clear" etc.

Wondering if anyone else has this issue? any tips or will Apple release an update for this issue. Really strange actually.

Hello everyone!! I have finally figured out how to get that darn Liquid Glass effect to finally work!! It’s actually quite easy. People weren’t being specific enough or have an older model iPhone. But I have FIGURED it out!! Ok so first things first, go to settings, then scroll to accessibility, then after that once you’re in accessibility scroll all the way down until you see “Per-App Settings”, press on that, then it will say “App Customization” there should be a “Home Screen & App Libary” option (if you don’t have one just press on “Add App”, once you have “Home Screen & App Libary” opened turn off Bold Text, Reduce Transparency, Increase Contrast, Differentiate Without Color, Prefer Horizontal Text, Smart Invert, Reduce Motion, and Prefer Non-Blinking Cursor. I am hoping that I helped a few people!! :D

I am in the uk and I have updated my iPhone 15 Pro max to iOS 26. The liquid glass thing is definitely not working. I don’t appear to be able to follow others advice in going to -settings, accessibility, transparency contrast These two last options don’t appear to exist. The backgrounds are a solid matt grey

settings, accessibility, Display & text size, Reduce transparency

settings, accessibility, Display & text size, Increase contrast (this can cause other problems)

Yes, grey opaque icons instead of the sort of see through look that the ones who have it looks like. It’s supposed to be the clear option on customization as it’s literally in the name. Clear. Though it obviously cannot be completely invisible, it still uses some transparency that you can see the background through the app with the exception of only the logo itself of the app icon being more opaque, but the “square” shape itself being transparent. I mean come on, look at these side by side and tell me the look the same to you.
