Could Apple revert my iPhone back to iOS 18 instead of iOS 26?

“I bought an iPhone because I wanted it to look and behave like an iPhone. Now, with the new update, the phone looks and behaves more like an Android device, and that is not what I want.”

First and foremost people need to perform a backup of their phone to a computer running itunes before installing the latest operating system.


Then when the new OS is not what they expect or causes conflicts they can revert to the old backup using itunes and various guides online that use the signed ipsw file that Apple approves you can use and itunes.
