experiencing several issues on iphone 15 after update to ios 26

This is the same issue I am experiencing. My email and text messages apps are not responding. I have restarted and did a force restart many times. They will work after the restart but the second I close the apps and attempt to reopen, the screen is black or my phone freezes.

Delete and re-install the apps. If they still don't work, contact the developers to tell them they need to update their apps.

You can scan QR codes with the built-in Camera app.

So I noticed that after the update my volume up button will not respond. I’ve gone through settings and made sure it was all set up but nothing works. And today it wouldn’t let me do anything I would unlock the phone and it was completely blurred out. I had to go through Siri just to turn it off and reset it. Thankfully that worked but I’m definitely seeing a lot of lagging.

After updating to iOS 26 and rebooting, my phone is not booting—it keeps looping with the Apple logo. I tried to update and restore, but nothing worked. The service center told me it’s a motherboard issue and the repair will cost 40,000. I’m not sure what to do next.

You either pay for the repair or buy a new phone.

With 18 I was having a problem with the screen occasionally freezing so I went in to an Apple Store Genius Bar. They ran diagnostics and said, "All you have to do is upgrade to iOS 26".. I did and what a disaster. I've had iPhones since they were first invented and never had this many issues with an OS upgrade.

My network keeps dropping on iPhone 15 Pro after update to iOS 26. Its not the network its the software. There are no outtages on Optus or Amaysim yet twice a day I have to 'Reset Network Settings' its becoming so annoying and almost making me want to leave Apple altogether!

Even with a full battery. I had to do a hard reset to turn the phone off and wait 20 minutes to turn back on. All these issues are making me want to leave Apple altogether! And I've been a loyal customer since 2007!

Is the most recent update? I’ve experienced several issues with my iPhone 15 Pro Max many times of lock up with messages and email to the point. I’ve had to shut the phone off forcefully to bring it back up only an hour or so later to have the same problem happen over and over again.

iPhone 13 Pro and IPad Pro 2nd Gen, both have the same email issues with Gmail. Blank screen, emails do not load and cannot read them. Super frustrating. My MacBook Pro is working still, but I’m guessing it’s a fight between Zuckerberg and Cook and either Apple or Google/Meta are making it difficult on all of us.

Apple operating systems are developed in conjunction with specialized hardware chips and systems. The cooperation between hardware and software promotes increased privacy, security, and efficiency. However, software developers must write software that protects and promotes those improvements.

Meta (Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, Threads etc.) and Alphabet (Google, YouTube, et al) view you as a product to monetize. They make billions of $$$$$ by selling everything you do online.

Apple develops software to continue to offer the privacy and security you presumably want. Yet when an iOS upgrade is released and breaks the very apps selling and compromising your security and safety, it’s somehow Apple’s responsibility to fix it? Sorry, but that’s not how software development works when you also make the hardware it runs on.

I updated my iPhone pro max 14 to iOS 26 today. Now if I go into settings then apps, I cannot select an app. If I try, the screen freezes. I can close settings and other functions continue to work.

Please I don’t want anything on my phone should be disclosed to anyone or even get any information from me because I want it to to be secure and private settings
