Finder Favorites not mounting NAS volume in macOS 26

I found that the following is a temporary workaround:

1. Create an alias for the NAS folder.
2. Try to access the alias - Finder will give an error. Select the option to Fix alias.
3. Select the NAS folder to "fix the alias".
4. Check to make sure that the alias now works.
5. Copy the alias to the sidebar.

It's not ideal, but might suffice for me until the issue is addressed.

Presume you tried simply deleting then re-creating the shortcut?

Make changes to your Finder>Settings>Sidebar
