I’ve had the iPhone 17 pro since yesterday, and there have been several times I’ve had to tap buttons in multiple apps and on the Home Screen and keyboard to get the phone to respond. There also seems to be lag when I’m scrolling. Has anyone else had this issue? I have a good quality glass screen protector and this feels like an issue with the software or phone itself.

You need to have Apple perform diagnostics on your iPhone. It can be done in person at an Apple Retail Store or at an Apple Authorized Service Provider. You can also contact Apple Support and request remote diagnostics.

I’m having the same issue. I always have to restart my phone. Got my phone the day it was released.

Same here my Pro max 17 from day one, was told it's the screen protector.. serious I have no screen protector yet. This is insane 😡😡😡😡
I’ve had the same issue. After various updates. The screen doesn’t respond to me trying to touch specific buttons in various apps.

Same issue with 17 pro. Can’t find the touch spot on apple wallet, google calendar, plus others. Apple support says I should do update again. How many times? It does not work!
