When the case is used to charge the AirPods, the case loses charge. You'll need to charge the case.

Mind you, I don't see what that has to do with your original statement. You make an observation about the fact that if your AirPods charged up from the case, the charge on the case dropped. You said nothing about time.

I got a very version (ordered the first day of release). They have been an unmitigated disaster. Screeching noises, feedback, underwater sounds. Essentially unusable. Case is now stating to 'replace the battery soon'. Assuming this is a software issue.

Curiously, the few times i've actually been able to use them for a full day, battery life in the actual pods was fantastic. Have had every version of pros before this and they were all amazing. Guessing we just got duds and/or they launched earlier than they should have.

Hello, am having the same issue with my new airpods pro 3 bought last Saturday. Took them out of the box with 55% battery and the morning after there was only 20% left. I charged it to 100%, and the morning after was already down to 60%, and further dropped to 50% during the rest of the day. All this while basically not using the airpods (used them for max 1hr overall)

I am on the latest firmware already, and I tried to reset the airpods but it doesn't seem to have changed much. Anyone having something similar lately?

My AirPods Pro 3 case was at 90% on my MagSafe charger last night. I get and find it at 60…

The case was once updated to 8A857 but downgraded to 8A853 last night??

Oh I thought they charged wireless by magic through the air.

On this rate of discharge I can have a max of 16 hours or recharge every day. My AirPods 2 needed to reload every 3 days.

How did you realize this was happening? Did it start happening after you experienced something or has it been like this since you bought it? I'm having the same problem. Do you have any suggestions?
