Frequent issues with Apple Translate

Since the release of the Translate app, I have often experienced issues that make it difficult to rely on.

• On-device mode: Language downloads are often unreliable. Sometimes they fail, or translations return only a few letters, or the app stays stuck loading without producing a result.
• Online mode: Even with a good connection, translations can be slow (for example, several seconds for simple words like Hello → Bonjour), and sometimes the results are inaccurate.

These problems have been present across multiple iOS versions. I had hoped that recent updates and new devices would improve the situation, but the same issues still appear.

Because translation is an important accessibility feature, I believe making this app more reliable would provide real value to many users.

Does anyone face the same difficulties ?
