Unable to save documents in Pages

I started to work on my documents on Pages from a long time ago. Recently I upgraded to iOS 26 (No idea if it is a factor), and Pages are not saving my documents very frequently, no matter location and internet connection. And it just got worse. Just now, I lost my progress as it did not tell me that it cannot save, no notice on the top right angle.

You should have Pages v14.4 for i/Pad/OS installed and if not, do so from the App Store.


I have Pages v14.4 installed on my M4 iPad Pro running iPadOS 26.0. I have no issues saving a document to iCloud Drive, or the local iPad filesystem. If you can save to those two locations, then you may have been trying to save to non-Apple cloud services where Pages either cannot save, or has no permissions to do so.
