iPhone does not ring for incoming calls after iOS 26 update

Much like some of the other users in this thread, I’ve been experiencing the same issue. As far as the announcement calls option is concerned, it was set to Never and it always has been. I’ve never had a need for calls to be announced. They would just ring. Today my dad called while I was watching something, and there was no ringtone. I saw his call coming through via the banner at the top of the screen earlier this evening, my wife says she called twice, but my phone never rang. My silent switch is set to ring, and she’s also set up with Emergency Bypass which is on. This has happened a few times with several different contacts since this update has occurred.

Using an iPhone 16 Pro Max running iOS 26.0.1.

I have the same issue, 14 Pro, separating the ring tone from the side buttons, rebooted the phone, removed focus modes, etc... Still nothing.

I have exactly the same issue. I modified settings, rebooted (and then it worked for a while), but after a few hours it stopped working again.

Me too. I also have problems with intermittent connection to bluetooth systems in spite that the last update intended to fix this issue

updated to iOS 26 and my iPhone 14 pro doesn't ring and make no sounds on texts! hat's up with this?

I’ve had issues since update. My iPhone 15 won’t ring for calls or texts.

I’ve done a reset but it only works for little while then goes back to silence

Mine is not ringing for text or phone. Where is this setting “always” on an iPhone 14 Pro? Reboot did not work
