HLG Color adjustments not showing in Comparison Viewer

I'm experimenting with HLG via two different Panasonic cameras (both shooting 10 bit .mov PR422 - ALL frames). FCP 11.2.

I noticed that when I save a timeline image in the Comparison Viewer, the color adjustments are missing.

They show when I click the 'Timeline' tab (in Comp Viewer) but I can't see a way to save that. When I click the 'Saved' tab and save the image, it reverts to the muddy version.

Any learned advice will be very welcome!

Ahhh...

I initially suspected the reason for the uncorrected version of the clip showing in the Comparison Viewer was because (in my haste) I had colour corrected the clips in their own timeline, rather than a project timeline, but on checking, I found that saving the frame from a timeline made no difference.
