How to move the search bar back to the top on iPhone home page?

The search bar has moved to the bottom of the home page previously we could move it back to the top that option is not available. Please add the option back having it at the bottom makes the search bar cumbersome and less user friendly

I have not seen the Search Bar for spotlight on the Home Screen appear on the top since iOS 15, with the current option being to remove it from the Home Screen. Maybe someone more familiar with it than me may be able to chime in with more details. I also played around with an old device using iOS 16 and the Search Bar remained on the bottom there too. Out of curiosity, which option are you referring to that you could previously move it to the top.

I can suggest Feedback, but I understand that is not the resolution you were looking for.

How do you change it back in Safari? I updated the tab section in Settings, but it didn’t change anything. The URL bar is still at the bottom.

Not sure if this is what you mean by updated the tab section in Settings, but you want to go to Settings > Apps > Safari, and in the Tabs section, change it to top. Then it will look like this:
