My Korg Krome Ex synth is connected to my SSL 12 interface via MIDI cables. The SSL 12 is connected to my Macbook pro via a USB cable. The SSL 12 is recognised in macOS's 'Audio Midi setup'. However the Korg Krome Ex which is connected to the SSL 12 via MIDI cables is not. I am not sure why this is happening, hope someone can advise, thanks. I am using an M4 16 inch MacBook Pro. The macOS is Sequoia.
Not sure what you mean by "Korg Krome Ex can't been seen in Audio Midi Setup when connected via MIDI cables" because as soon as you connect anything to a midi interface via midi cables, which it seems to be the SSL 12 interface, the external instruments are not displayed. They would be displayed only when connected directly via usb to your computer. However, you should see at least a midi input port (SSL) in the audio-midi setup and an incoming midi signal in Logic. If this is the case, you could manually add a new device in the audio-midi-setup, load a picture and name it as "Korg Ex".
